Escape to our historic Guest House, where mountain views and ocean breezes await. We proudly offer temporary accommodations for all MWR eligible patrons and their sponsored guests for professional or leisure travel.
Choose from our 46 rooms, including suites, ADA-accessible options, and 12 fully furnished, pet-friendly apartments. For your convenience, enjoy our new multi-purpose gathering areas with toddler play-units and our "Convenience Cubby" store for snacks. Access to off-base RV parking and camping areas is also available.
About us
The Kodiak MWR Guest House is a historical building surrounded by mountain views and ocean
breezes. Conveniently located on USCG Base Kodiak within walking distance to the Exchange,
Commissary, and many more MWR facilities. We provide temporary accommodation for both
professional and leisure travel for all MWR eligible patrons and their sponsored guests.
The Guest House has 46 rooms, three suites, three VIP suites, and two ADA accessible rooms. All
rooms have mini fridge, coffee pot, iron & board, hair dryer, 50” Smart TV. Accommodation for all
floors; a full kitchen with all the home-like amenities, dining and lounge areas, and laundry facilities
for each floor for the convenience of our valued guests.
Hotel new additions:
Convenience Cubby for last minute snacks and sundries (same hours as front desk)
Multi-Purpose gathering area w/ toddler play-units, 3 Display screens, Dry erase board
Guest House staff also supports the MWR 12 pet friendly 4-plex apartments.
Our two-bedroom units have: One queen bed and two extra-long twin beds, full kitchen equipped with
all necessary cooking utensils, crockpot, coffee pot, toaster, etc., one bathroom, and Smart TV with
WIFI, Iron & board.
Our three-bedroom units have: One queen bed and four extra-long twin beds, 2 bathrooms, full
kitchen with all necessary cooking utensils, crockpot, coffee pot, toaster, etc., and one Smart TV with
WIFI, Iron & board.
Off Base MWR Recreation Vehicle parking and camping areas available April 1 st to October 1 st .
14-day reservation limit applies to all rooms and apartments. Exceptions on approval.
The Guest House accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Credit card
information is required to confirm and hold reservations.
For leisure reservations: A one-night charge if cancelled 7 days or less or no shows
Traveling TDY Gov’t professionals will not be charged for cancellation. Notification of
cancellation is required.
